Commodity Buyer – Raw Materials

Join an international automotive environment and help drive sourcing excellence across multiple manufacturing locations.

We are looking for a proactive Commodity Buyer to support procurement activities related to raw materials. In this role, you will work closely with suppliers, manufacturing sites, and cross-functional teams to ensure supply continuity, cost competitiveness, and efficient procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute sourcing activities and support supplier selection processes.
- Lead supplier negotiations focused on cost, delivery, and commercial conditions.
- Manage engineering change requests and support ongoing production requirements.
- Act as a key procurement contact for manufacturing sites.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives and support VA/VE activities.
- Ensure timely supply and fulfilment of business requirements.
- Support implementation of category strategies and sourcing initiatives.
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.

Požadavky

Your Profile
- 1–4 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain.
- Experience within automotive or manufacturing environments is an advantage.
- Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercial mindset with solid analytical abilities.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- English required; German or Spanish is a plus.
