We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer who wants to work on critical systems supporting global aviation and transport operations. If you enjoy modernizing legacy applications, working in complex enterprise environments, and gradually transitioning toward microservices architecture, this role could be the right fit.
You will join a collaborative team responsible for developing and enhancing key applications supporting international transportation and aviation processes.

? What you will do?
- Maintain, enhance, and modernize existing enterprise applications within a Java-based ecosystem
- Contribute to the transition toward a microservices architecture
- Analyse functional and technical requirements
- Collaborate with global IT teams across the aviation logistics domain
- Share technical knowledge and work in an agile, distributed environment

Požadavky

? What we are looking for:
- Strong experience in Java backend development (Java 8+, Spring Boot, Java EE)
- Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Ability to work with and improve legacy enterprise applications, including basic frontend technologies (JSP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript) used in backend-driven enterprise systems
- Solid understanding of databases (Oracle, MS SQL), JDBC, and system integration
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML processing, and CI/CD pipelines
- Good understanding of testing practices (TDD) and secure coding principles (OWASP Top 10)
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket)
- Interest in or experience with AI-assisted development tools (code assistants, test generation, refactoring, LLM-based APIs)

⭐ Nice to have:
- Experience with Kafka or other event-driven architectures
- Experience with monitoring tools (Dynatrace)
- Exposure to cloud or cloud-native application principles
- Experience working in large-scale, international enterprise environments
