System Design Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to join our team designing and developing high-integrity systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the whole systems engineering lifecycle and work in a multidisciplinary team to design a variety of complex systems. Projects will be of varying levels of size and complexity and both internal and external projects.

Key Responsibilities:
· Liaise with stakeholders to enable the elicitation of architectural requirements.
· Analyze and define system features and attributes to inform the creation of the most appropriate system architecture.
· Conduct appropriate analysis (use cases, sequence diagrams, simulations, state machines etc.) for defining system behavior and application to the system architecture.
· Define Logical architectures to support the definition and allocation of feature/functions.
· Analyze and define physical architecture and interfaces.
· Support the system level fault response and reconfiguration activities.
· Support reliability and safety analysis (e.g. ITD, FMEA, FTA, HARA etc.)
· Use requirements management tools for capturing requirements at all levels and generating specification documents.
· Ensure that the system architecture effectively supports integration and test activities.
· Ensure project documentation is correctly managed, maintained and released in line with company processes and standards.
· Deliver engineering tasks in line with project milestones.

Požadavky

Qualifications, Experience and Skills Required:
· A degree or similar qualification in an engineering discipline
· A sound understanding of engineering, physics and applied mathematics and their application to solving real world problems.
· Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Able to prioritize and manage projects and tasks effectively.
· Relevant experience in system design, electrical/electronic engineering and control systems.
· Experience in a customer-facing role, providing technical interfaces to customers.
· Strong presentation, report writing, and communication skills. Ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
· Experience in engineering of vehicle electrification, power systems and/or renewable energy would be strong advantage
